That's right! I haven't gotten a "round tuit" in a long time!
We are in the thick of another packed tour through Missouri for the International Country Gospel Music Association convention in Branson. This year has been eventful both at home and in other places.
Let's just give a brief run-down... December in Montana and Arizona. That was the great bus adventure for James and Amanda.... very exciting! We spent a lot of time in shops trying to get the engine to stop sending clouds of black smoke over the hiway behind us alarming all the passing traffic. They did love having the space to live and were hoping to remodel it just right to suit their needs.
We made it to New Mexico and Texas in February... still bringing the bus ... and another motor home Bob & I bought as a back-up plan if the bus didn't make it. Feb & Mar were packed in Southwest Texas between singing and visiting friends and friends visiting us! The kids took part in the San Antonio Independent Christian Film Festival and we saw our son, Joel, in Austin for the first time in 5 or more years for many of us. The family also participated in Nancy's sisters wedding near Dallas before heading home for Bob's 40th re-birthday party in Billings and finally landing in Great Falls for 6 months of traveling back and forth between Montana and North Dakota while we were "staying home".
That brings you a very condensed version of this year up to date.
Now we are in Kansas City area singing every day. We just finished singing at a coffee shop in the parking lot! Buster Roper roped us into a radio promotion concert for some of the businesses he promotes on his Believers in Bluegrass radio program broadcast in the KC area. We also sang at two jamborees and the Glory Barn gospel show is tonight.
Who knows? Maybe I will let you know what is happening again... before next year!?]
I hope so! ~~~~ Nancy
